Craniosacral Therapy (CST) has been shown to be helpful for a wide range of medical problems associated with pain and loss of function. The Craniosacral system consists of the membranes and fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord, as well as the attached bones, including the skull, face and mouth, and the tailbone area, or sacrum.

Lightly laying hands on various parts of the body, particularly the skull, the spine, and the pelvis, these areas are palpated, sensing movement and looking for disruptions in the Craniosacral system. Through gentle palpation and focus the soft tissue is manipulated to clear blockages and correct the flow of cerebrospinal fluid, helping the body release restrictions that inhibit its normal self-correcting tendencies. The method is extremely safe and effective. This technique is performed fully clothed; comfy, loose-fitting clothing is recommended.
